Steve San Filippo, founder of Sensiba San Filippo LLP and Sensiba San Filippo Financial Advisers, LLC, died Oct. 9. He is survived by his wife, Julie, and three children, Marisa, Dominic and Joseph.

Like many Silicon Valley business stories, Sensiba San Filippo had humble origins, starting in San Filippo's home. Fast-forward 40 years, and the firm was one of the largest Northern California full-service accounting firms and earlier this year became California's first accounting firm to become a certified B Corporation.
