CalCPA member Colin Johns, CPA passed away at home in Boise, Idaho, on May 12. Johns graduated from the University of Manchester in 1977 with a degree in Economics and accepted a position with KMG Thomson McLintock & Co. in London where he became a Chartered Accountant. Thomson McLintock sent him to San Francisco in November 1981, for what was supposed to be an 18-month assignment to learn American accounting standards and practices. It turned into 34 years.
