In memoriam.
Douglas A. Eyre, a member of the Pittsburgh Chapter and a founding member of the Institute's Salt Lake City Chapter died on December 19 while on a business trip for Alcoa, Inc., where he served as Manager of Federal Tax, Audits and Tax Research. A graduate of Brigham Young University, Mr. Eyre was a certified public accountant. He previously worked for Coopers & Lybrand and Cordant Technologies, which was acquired by Alcoa in 2000.
