In memoriam.

CLARENCE F. PAWLICKI, a long-time member and former president of the Cleveland Chapter, died on January 4, 2002. Mr. Pawlicki began his tax career at Republic Steel Corporation in 1955 as a property accountant. After a stint at Alcan Aluminum in Cleveland, he returned to Republic in 1975, where he worked as Director of Corporate Taxes until he joined Cleveland Cliffs in 1985 from which he retired as Director-Taxes in 2002. He joined TEI in 1965 and, with only a brief interruption, was a member of the Institute until his retirement; he served as the Cleveland Chapter's 1972-1973 Chapter President and as 1976-1977...
