Steven Edward Kramer, born March 23, 1943, died Feb. 17. Kramer was born in San Diego and lived there almost all his life. He attended Crawford High School and San Diego State University (then San Diego State College), where he earned his accounting degree.

Kramer was a dedicated CalCPA supporter and volunteer at both the chapter and state levels. A regular attendee of the San Diego Chapter board meetings, he often provided a very different, but considered, viewpoint to the mainstream. He was highly involved in CalCPA's Insurance Committee, and worked for member benefits and valuable products for CPAs. He also did a great deal of volunteer work with KPBS...
