BARBARA HENDERSON, a CalCPA board member from 1984-86, died Nov. 28. She was 67.

During her 35 years of public service, she served as director of finance and city treasurer for the city of Fullerton, finance director for the city of Irvine and director of finance and assistant city manager for the city of San Dimas. Henderson also served as one of the five members of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board and was the first woman to serve as president of the California Society of Municipal Finance Officers. She also served on the boards of the Government Finance Officers Association and the League of California Cities.
