IN MEMORIAM

Malcolm "Sandy" MacDougall, a devoted and valued member of the CBA's Water Law Section, passed away on April 18, 2018.

Sandy was born in Denver on January 26, 1938 to Malcolm and Helen MacDougall. He graduated from East High School in Denver and attended Colorado A&M in Fort Collins, where he met his future wife, Phyllis Pomrenke. The couple was married in 1959 and had two sons, Barry and Chris.

Sandy graduated from CU Law School in 1962 and became a clerk for The Honorable ludge lean S. Breitenstein of the Tenth Circuit

Court of Appeals. He served on the Denver Water Boardbeforejoiningthefirrn at Saunders, Snyder & Ross. He later served as general counsel for the Golden Circle Corporation and as a partner with Geddes & Sparks. He eventually opened his own private practice, partnering with luliann Woldridge and Hank Worley.

Sandy was a co-founder of the Southglenn Civic Association, and in that capacity he helped found Arapahoe Ir. College. He also served as president of the Board of Directors of the Western Museum...
