It's time to come clean about soap. Rocky Mountain Naturals is an Idaho Springs-based manufacturer, retailer, wholesaler and prospective franchiser of "pure, true soap," about 1% of the entire soap market, said company founder Dale Robbins.

In contrast, his soap contains natural-state oils--such as palm, olive, coconut and other essential oils. The lavender is "French lavender." All ingredients are stewed in a big kettle, then poured "like a huge cement block." Finally, the soap is wire-cut and cured for three weeks.
