Franchise business people who need pertinent information on the franchise industry and important issues affecting their businesses have been able to find it at www.franchise. org, the International Franchise Association's Web site. Now those same leaders can find the nation they need by visiting three new microsites, launched in September, which are dedicated to such critical issues as:

* Health Care Reform

* Small Business Lending

* VetFran

IFA's Health Care Reform Center, franchise.org/healthcare/, serves as an important resource for association members to learn more about the health care reform law and how it will affect their businesses. For example, visitors can find "The Effects of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act on the Franchise Industry," a study conducted by the Hudson Institute for IFA, which includes case studies that show how different franchise businesses are likely to be affected once the employer mandates take effect.
