Members of the International Franchise Association have a variety of outlets to receive industry information and nearly 70 percent rate Franchising World magazine as excellent (nearly 29 percent) to above average (more than 41 percent), according to a recently conducted IFA member survey.
On July 13, IFA members received an e-mail survey that 8.2 percent of them completed, which is up from the 4 percent who completed a 2009 reader survey. The survey reviewed Franchising World's printed and electronic versions, the IFA Insider newsletter, IFA SmartBrief news summary, Franchise.org and the association's social outlets.
Survey respondents rated IFA Smartbrief as excellent (more than 36 percent) or above average (nearly 32 percent); the IFA Insider earned 25 percent for excellent and almost 40 percent above average; and Franchise. org, the IFA Web site, earned nearly one-quarter (23.7 percent) for excellent and more than two-thirds (37.2 percent) for above average from survey-takers.
