Nibley -- In November, MALOUF celebrated a big milestone in its efforts toward creating cleaner air for the Cache Valley community. The local sleep products company held a Flip the Switch event to commemorate the installation of a new rooftop solar PV array and eight electric vehicle charging stations. This solar array will not only offset a portion of the building's energy use, but will also assist with generating better air quality for future generations.

HUNT ELECTRIC worked closely with Malouf to design and install the car charging stations and 315kW, 972-panel solar array on the roof of its new state-of-the-art facility. The amount of power generated from Malouf's solar PV system is the equivalent of offsetting greenhouse gas emissions from 765,993 miles per year from passenger vehicles or taking 67.7 passenger vehicles off the road.
