• Position: Golf shoes - WHAT'S NEW?

While our boys, all three of them, are willing to indulge dear old dad in a little spirited play--whether it be hockey (the driveway variety), basketball (I put up the net myself), football (as long as I'm QB), or baseball (usually Wiffle Ball, but I do hit fungoes and throw BP at the park)--when it comes time to hit the fairway or the driving range, we usually seek out our daughter, a tenacious and feisty midfielder who doubles as a determined cross country runner to stay in shape for soccer. As a golfer, to no one's surprise (least of all her parents and siblings), she takes great pleasure in really giving that little white ball a good, long ride. Her spirited play, however, cannot obscure the fact that, at 13, she still is a young lady with decidedly modern tastes, especially when it comes to her attire. So, when looking to outfit her in golf shoes, the choice was pretty obvious--Sandbaggers, Portland, Maine, a company that insists '"[hat variety is the spice of life and, here at Sandbaggers, we like things spicy!"
