HUD Deadline Extended.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced that the filing deadline for audited financial statements for HUD-supported multifamily housing projects has been permanently extended to 90 days after a project's yearend.
The earlier requirement was 60 days after the end of the project's fiscal year. HUD extended the deadline to alleviate workload compression for small and midsize CPA firms.
