Greenville-basedHuman Technologies Inc.has been named Global Supplier of the Year byMichelin Group. HTI was selected as one of five companies to receive this award from more than 50,000 global suppliers.

HTI was nominated by Greenville-based Michelin North America and reviewed during an evaluation process that emphasizes excellence in four domains - quality of products or services provided, added value they create for Michelin, innovation and corporate social responsibility, according to a news release. HTI was the sole recipient in the field of services purchasing and the only North American company to be honored. The awards ceremony took place in Clermont-Ferrand, France.
