Archdale resident and High Point University trustee, Elizabeth Aldridge, has committed $2 million to the university as an unrestricted gift.

The university will honor Aldridge and her deceased husband, William, by naming the Village residential facility, a complex of three buildings that house 655 students on North College Drive, for them.
