How to make this a Blue Jean Nation.

I admire Mike McCabe's idea of a Blue Jean Nation (September issue), but as always with radicals who wish to change society for the better, the big question is how to go about it. Wisconsin is the perfect place to start, and if I were McCabe, I'd seek to expand westward to Minnesota, which has its own history of ultra-liberal-cum-socialist movements, although none of them is very active or visible these days.
