Regarding the excellent interview in the November edition with Kshama Sawant, she and Bernie Sanders--along with Naomi Klein, Noam Chomsky, and Amy Goodman--are laying the groundwork for the emergence of a new political party reflecting their common core values. But as always, the big question is: How will the public be mobilized?

I'm also afraid the tiny socialist and communist parties that barely exist in America are not going to be part of any movement. This is because they will do their best to avoid being preempted by those whom they may deem unworthy of wearing the mantle of "true socialism."
