Thank you for "How the FBI Let 9/11 Happen" (June). The Federal Bureau of Investigation's reputation in the media has always been mythic, but in the law enforcement community it is not that great. As a retired New York City detective I can tell you, if you ask a lot of police investigators, they'll tell you FBI stands for Fools, Boobs, and Idiots. It's a shame that 3,000 people...
