If you would like to repay your mother for everything she's done for you, start saving now. A survey sponsored by Hallmark Cards, Inc., asked 507 American children between the ages of six and 11 to put a price on motherhood and, according to the results, moms are quite valuable indeed. When asked to list the favorite thing she does for them, 23% of youngsters said "plays with me," which outranked "kisses me" "hugs me," and "feeds me."

If they had "all the money in the world," 29% of the kids surveyed said they would pay Mom $1,000,000 for everything she does. When it comes to putting a price tag on specific jobs, they are willing to pay Mom an average rate of $50 per hour for playtime.
