Houston Chapter hosts Regions V & VII Liaison Meeting.

On May 14, 2012, the Houston Chapter of TEI hosted the 2012 Region V & VI IRS-TEI Liaison Meeting. The venue for the meeting was the beautiful lake side community of Woodlands, Texas. The two Regional Vice Presidents--Charles A. Fitzer, a member of the Minnesota Chapter who works for U.S. Bancorp, and Stephany M. Jackson, a member of the Houston Chapter who works for Newpark Resources, Inc.--were the conference leaders, along with Eli J. Dicker, Institute's Chief Tax Counsel.

The IRS's Large Business & International Division supported the event with top leadership from Washington, D.C., and Houston-based Natural Resources and Construction (NRC) Industry. In attendance from LB&I were the following individuals: Tom Brandt--Director of Planning, Analysis, Inventory & Research; Cheryl Claybough--Director, Pre-Filing and Technical Guidance (who was recently appointed Industry Director of the IRS's Communications, Technology, and Media Industry); Paul Curtis--Director of Field Operations-West, Field Specialists...
