Host a women's appreciation event at your store.

When a woman visits your store for the first time, her friends more than likely recommended your store to her. There lies the secret to increasing your customer base: providing a warm atmosphere and amazing service, which will prompt women to tell their friends about your operation. Before you know it, the word is out that women can come to you for quality products and advice.

Boyert Shooting Center--with locations in Houston and Katy, Texas--exhibited their commitment to women by hosting a Women's Appreciation Weekend recently. The name is a little bit of a misnomer, as Boyert had specials the entire month of April. Extra events were held on one weekend. All of this highlighted Boyert's customer service and showcased its educational opportunities and range facilities.

"Our mission was to grab the attention of women and we achieved it," said Ashley Manivong, Boyert marketing director. "Women shooters are a fast-growing demographic."
