As experts cite an epidemic of obese youths, the response of the fast-food industry seems to be, "You want fries with that?"

Given the enormity of weight problems among children and teens, it may seem strange to see more and more fast-food outlets sprouting up in schools and even hospitals. Yet the American School Food Service estimates that at least 30 percent of public high schools offer fast food. The National Society for Healthcare Food Service Management says about 20 percent of its member hospitals do.
