SHE WAS NEARLY AN AUTHOR, almost a screenwriter, but as fate would have it, Hope Woodside's fresh views have ended up on the airwaves, as anchor for Fox 13 news. "I knew that I loved to write. Whether that would translate into fiction or screenwriting. I didn't know. But in college, I talked my way into a TV/radio news class, loved it, and went from there," says Woodside. Her career has since taken her from Texas to Ohio to her hometown of Chicago and, finally to Salt Lake City. As an avid golfer, skier and patron of the arts, Utah's the perfect setting for Woodside.
