TOM HONIG, regional president of Wells Fargo Bank, Rocky Mountain Region, has been named chair-elect for the 2004-2005 Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce board of directors. Having served on the DMCC board since 2000, Honig currently serves as co-chair of the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation and is scheduled to assume his new responsibilities in September when Ned Minor, founder and partner of Minor & Brown P.C., takes over as chair.

KELLER HAYES, president of the Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce for seven years, has left the organization to work privately as a consultant in coaching on leadership and gender issues and general training. CWCC is the largest women's chamber in the country--growing from 640 members when Hayes took the post to 1,600 members currently. She has created new programs and events, including a certification regime for women-owned businesses, the Power of Leadership training program and the chamber's Building Partnerships Breakfast.
