I have been a subscriber to Américas for nearly thirty years. I must say that the last issue (December) was the most informative issue I have ever received. Each article had a wonderful balance of history. From the beautiful vistas of Nicaragua and Uruguay to the vampires and celebrations in Mexico, I loved each story. Although I remember reading an article about Cubagua many years ago in Américas , this one was much more enjoyable. It is always wonderful to read about the one thing that all the countries in the Americas share in common--a rich and fascinating history!

I intend to share my copy of Américas with my "coffee-clatch" group when we meet for our annual Christmas party later this month. They are all very interested in Latin American history and I'm sure they will enjoy this issue as much as I have.
