Park City--The PARK CITY COUNCIL reviewed materials for phase one of the Historic Park City Improvement Plan in early March, setting in motion a 10-year plan to upgrade the infrastructure of Park City's central commercial thoroughfare. The total improvement plan is expected to invest about $15 million in the area over the next 10 years.

"This plan will make much-needed improvements to our downtown, which is the lifeblood of our community," says Alison Butz, director of the Historic Park City Alliance. "From the sidewalks and curbs to the addition of public plazas and improved connectivity from parking to Main Street, our downtown is getting the makeover it needs to continue serving our residents and tourists for years to come."
