To help goblins and ghouls resist day-after rashes, Weitzul recommends:

* Do not wear masks and costumes that transfer color onto the skin.

* Stay away from tight clothing and occlusive fabrics that can cause friction, irritation, and heat rash.

* Try to use water-based makeup, which is easier to remove than oil-based versions.
