"Help Wanted" Ads for the Boardroom?

The tight U.S. job market even shows up in tougher boardroom recruiting, according to Boardroom Insider, an online newsletter. Thus, says publisher Ralph D. Ward, boards must innovate to find talent.

"If there was ever a time to move beyond the 'good old boy' circle, it's now," says Ward. "Many top executives don't have time to serve on corporate boards, just as boardroom time demands and workload are climbing."
