Television broadcasts will switch from analog to digital beginning Feb. 17, 2009, and the federal government is offering help to consumers who now use analog TVs with a rooftop antenna or rabbit ears. Reception will no longer be available via those methods beginning in March, but consumers can buy a converter box to continue those forms of TV reception after the change.
