Adm. Linda Fagan was sworn in as the 27th Commandant of the Coast Guard. She is the first woman to lead a branch of the U.S. Armed Forces. She will also be well versed on Arctic matters as she began her 36-year career as a deck watch officer on the Seattie-based heavy icebreaker, the Polar Star.

The Army appointed Michael C. Monteleone III as the director for the assured position, navigation and timing/space cross-functional team. Monteleone has served in the senior executive service since 2018.

Ryan Garner joined Navistar Defense LLC as its chief financial officer, succeeding Rosana Stein. Garner spent the last 18 years at CACI International Inc.

GM Defense LLC is expanding its business to Canada. Pete Johnson, GM Defense's vice president of integrated vehicles business development, will lead military customer engagements on behalf of the company in Canada and worldwide.
