Tactical & Survival Specialties Inc. announced the retirement of its founder Bill Strang, who was also a long-time and active member of NDIA's Special Operations/Low Intensity Conflict Division. Strang started the company in his garage in 1980. It grew into a leading equipment supplier for law enforcement and first responders. The company will continue as part of Noble Supply and Logistics--a privately held global supply chain company headquartered in greater Boston that acquired the company in March.
