Healy Coal Plant Dispute Settled.

The Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority and Golden Valley Electric Association have reached a settlement on the Healy Clean Coal Project. The agreement was signed recently by AIDEA Executive Director Randy Simmons and GVEA President Mike Kelly.

Under the comprehensive settlement, both sides agreed to protect the interests of Interior rate payers and it provides for pay-back of AIDEA's investment in the clean coal project As a result of this settlement, all litigation has been concluded.
