In September 2020, CaroMont Health entered a long-term partnership with Belmont Abbey College to build a hospital and medical campus adjacent to the private college. CaroMont Health plans to open the facilities, located off Exit 27 on 1-85 South, in late 2023 or early 2024. This campus is part of CaroMont Health's commitment to invest more than $300 million in new and expanded facilities in the Gaston County area by the end of 2024.
