Over the years, Latino Leaders has been interviewing and profiling some of the most influential and recognized leaders in the health care profession. We acknowledge that the Latinos working in the medical and health fields are true examples of leadership and innovation.

On the other hand, it's been said many times that the Latino population underperforms when it comes to evaluating their health care situations: poor medical coverage and services, poor levels of nutrition and exercise, genetic characteristics and other factors.
