More than 100 members and guests availed themselves of the opportunity to hear nationally recognized speakers such as Mindy Schmidt (KPMG--Washington; Foreign Reporting), Eric Solomon (Ernst & Young--Washington; Federal Legislative Update), Handy Hevener (Morgan, Lewis & Bockius; Compensation and Benefits), Maureen Pechacek (PricewaterhouseCoopers--San Diego; Multistate Update), and Steve LaRosa (PricewaterhouseCoopers--Hartford; Connecticut Update). Eli Dicker, TEI's Chief Tax Counsel, attended and updated the chapter on the organization's advocacy efforts.
