Gustavus Inn at Glacier Bay was chosen an "America's Classic" by the James Beard Foundation of New York. The honor is a first for Alaska, inn officials said.
The award recognizes restaurants that have high-quality food and reflect the character of their community. The award for Gustavus Inn is in the Pacific Northwest category.
