Gunnison Valley Bank marks 100 years of serving central Utah.

Gunnison -- During the past century, vast changes have come across Utah's financial institutions. One constant has been GUNNISON VALLEY BANK; the bank is celebrating its 100-year anniversary this year.

The Gunnison Valley Bank first opened its doors on Saturday, October 23, 1909. The building, constructed of white stone, was erected at a cost of $15,000 and declared at the time to be "absolutely fireproof." Several additions to the building have been made, but the original facade and vault are still in operation.

As one of Utah's last remaining community banks, Gunnison Valley Bank boasts a colorful history.
