Greenville tech startup to expand with $250K grant.

ScopeStack Inc., a software service solution startup based in Greenville, plans to expand its operations and workforce with a $250,000 grant from S.C. Launch.

Launched by IT providers, the company helps automate the presales process for IT, managed and cloud service providers. According to a news release, ScopeStack's software platform enables engineers to accurately price professional services and reduces the time used to scope a product.

"Solving problems and providing solutions is always top of mind when we consider supporting a startup," Lee MacIlwinen, investment manager of SC Launch's affiliate, SCRA, said in a news release. "The ScopeStack team spent many years copying information from one platform to another manually and updating documents and spreadsheets to generate proposals. They fully understood the problem and came up with an innovative software solution to solve it. ScopeStack is revolutionizing the statement of work process, making it truly turnkey."

ScopeStack became an SC Launch Member Company in 2018 and later received a $25,000 Project Development Fund Grant and a $50,000 Acceleration Grant, making the startup a SC Launch Inc. portfolio company.
