Greenville lab validated for COVID-19 tests.
Greenville-based Premier Medical Laboratory Services has become the first commercial laboratory in the state validated to process COVID-19 testing, the company announced today.
Premier will offer test results within 24-28 hours after receiving the sample and plans to boost its current testing capacity of 1,000 tests to 28,000 in the weeks ahead, according to the news release, which said the lab's cloud-based information system, ONGen, helps expediate testing orders through a streamlined communication system between laboratory instruments.
