Greenville Civic Project launches with Community Budget Teach-In.

Members of the Greenville community can learn how municipal budgets are created and managed during a Community Budget Teach-in Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Triune Mercy Center in Greenville.

The event will focus on Greenlink transit funding as an example of how advocacy in the budget process can make an impact, according to a news release. It is being sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Greenville County and the Women's Rights and Empowerment Network, also known as WREN.
