Greenlink launches new monthly bus pass Touchpass card.

Greenlink is offering a new monthly pass through its electronic TouchPass ticketing system, which allows customers to pay bus fares using a reloadable smart card or smartphone app, according to a news release.

Customers can now use their TouchPass smart card or smartphone app to purchase a 31-day unlimited ride pass. Fees are listed online.

"Greenlink is introducing the new fare product in response to frequent customer requests for this type of pass," George Campbell, board chairman of the Greenville Transit Authority, said in the release. "We believe the pass will make the boarding process simpler by eliminating the need to purchase transfer tickets. The TouchPass system will also reduce the expense for our frequent customers by capping the maximum amount a passenger spends on fares each month through a new fare cap policy."
