Government Finance Review, GFOA's bimonthly membership publication, has been awarded an Ozzie Award for excellence in magazine design. Art Director Sarah Ettinger accepted the award on behalf of GFOA at the Folio:Show Celebration of Excellence Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony in New York City October 28.

The Ozzie Awards are presented each year in conjunction with the Folio:Show--the largest and most comprehensive conference and exposition for the magazine industry. This year, 82 judges reviewed more than 1,400 entries, awarding gold, silver, and honorable mention honors in 14 design categories.

Government Finance Review won gold among association/nonprofit entries in the "best redesign" category. GFOA launched the new design--the most extensive in the magazine's 18-year history--with the April 2003 issue. The purpose of the change was to better serve...
