Navy Rear Adm. (lower half) Rand H. Fisher has been nominated for appointment to the grade of rear admiral. Fisher is currently serving as commander of the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command space field activity and director of naval space technology systems programs in Chantilly, Va.

Navy Rear Adm. (lower half) Charles H. Johnston Jr. has also been nominated for appointment to the grade of rear admiral. Johnston is currently serving as commander of the Naval Air Warfare Center weapons division in China Lake, Calif.
