North Korea, the destitute Communist state run by the 30-something Kim Jung Un, is one of the most secretive nations in the world. Most citizens have no access to the Internet or foreign TV, and few foreigners are allowed into the country. But now, Google Maps has lifted the veil a little, posting a basic map of one of the world's most repressive police states. Thanks to "citizen cartographers" who used a program to edit and add to Google Maps, the world can now take a peek at some of North Korea's hotels, schools, and what appear to be four gulags--Soviet Union-style forced-labor camps.
