The Progressive is to be commended for its new website, publicschoolshakedown.org, and the excellent articles by Ruth Conniff, Brendan Fischer, and Rebecca Kemble (August issue) on the serious threats to public education by the privatizers who would divert public funds to religious private schools through vouchers and/or tax credits.
