You probably haven't heard of the Good Gun Foundation, but you will. Created by Bryan Tucker, president and CEO of Davidson's, the foundation aims to "positively impact our communities and the public perception of gun ownership."
Part of the member's pledge is "to perform community service, to promote environmental stewardship."
That's badly needed, according to Tucker.
"While most gun owners are responsible, there are those who aren't," Tucker said. During a trip to the desert near Prescott, Ariz., Tucker saw a lot of shot-up targets, spent cartridges and trash-strewn campsites.
