Getting the Treatment.

After reading the article "Addiction, Inc." in the December/January issue, I had to write in. What a win-win deal for capitalism: the highly corrupting (everyone from police to judges) illegal drug trade with its billions in clear profit and the similarly corrupt make-a-buck health care system that views any illness you or I might have as a profit-making enterprise!

The simple, sane solutions of legalizing drugs, ceasing to over-prescribe (another way the system corrupts), and providing birth-to-death single-payer health care for all can never compete! No study group needed.
