General Calls for Victory From Beyond the Grave.

* It appears that Army Chief of Staff Gen. James McConville is being haunted by the ghost of former President of the United States Dwight D. Eisenhower.

McConville currently lives at Quarters 1 in Fort Myer, Virginia--a historic house that has served as the residence of all Army chiefs of staff since 1910. Prior to his election to president of the United States, Eisenhower lived in the house during his tenure as Army chief of staff from 1945 to 1948.

McConville said he walks by several historical artifacts that belonged to Eisenhower, including the bedroom where he slept at the time.
