We first got turned on to the gear bag manufacturer Ogio International, Inc., Bluffdale, Utah, during our annual back-to-school shopping frenzy, as we desperately were trying to outfit the kids for the rigors of academia. We loved the company's Metro backpack, designed to carry books, electronics, and sports equipment (read skateboard). We always are on the lookout for exciting new bags and Ogio has come through for us again with its Stinger II golf bag and Bender gym duffel. The Stinger II ($299.99) has been opening eyes every where, apparently, as it walked off with the 2004 Business Week IDEA Award for innovation. One be reason is that Ogio's most popular cart bag operates like a stand bag.
