Jeff Rundles may believe, though totally incorrectly, that "there's not a person out there who believes that the price of gasoline in the United States has anything to do with supply and demand." And that "everyone believes, at the core, that it's manipulated, and perhaps illegally manipulated." ("Price hikes fuel empty feeling," June).

Fact: There are more gas-burning vehicles in the U.S. than ever in history.
